How long do you grill pork loin per pound?
How long do you grill pork loin per pound?

Pork loin is wonderful when cooked properly.  Follow our steps below to achieve your perfect loin.

One of the best ways to grill pork loin is to rub it with an exceptional pork rub.  Jake's Tri-Tip, Steak and Rib Rub is phenomenal when it comes to great pork rub.  Grilling can be done on a kettle grill like a Weber or aluminum grill with gas or radiant heat and so on.  Best methods are to cook the loin over indirect heat followed by spreading on some Jake's Gold Medal winning BBQ sauce.

Steps:

1. Select your Pork Loin.

2. Clean and Wash, patting dry afterward.

3. Season the Pork Loin with Jake's Dry Rub.

4. Let rest for 1 hour in cool dry place (refriegerator).  Once done let the Pork Loin reach room temperature before placing it on the grill.

5. Prepare your grill bringing the temperture to 325 degrees.

6. Oil the grill grates with Olive or similar oil.

7. Place the Pork Loin over the cooler section of the grill and place the top on the grill.

8. Ensure the grill vents are open and the bottom vents are at least half way open.

9. Check temperature every 15 minutes. Once the internal temperature reaches 160 degrees Fahrenheit, take it off the grill.

Let it rest for 5-10 minutes so the juices redistribute throughout the meat.

We've added our Pork Cooking chart below to help out.
